Flute Maestro J.A. Jayant

Young Carnatic Flute exponent J.A.Jayant, is an artiste, collaborator, teacher and composer performing across the globe and popularizing the art of flute playing. A prodigy - having started performing at the age of 7, Flute J.A.Jayant is a young musician of national and international repute with over 45 international tours and 2000 solo concerts/jugalbandhi performances to his credit. His grandfather Flute Late T.S.Sankaran is his guru. A global ambassador of Indian Music, Jayant has performed and enthralled audiences at various prestigious organizations and festivals in India and around the world including Theatre de la ville- Paris, Fes Festival - Morocco, Les Orientales d'anjou festival, Sodra Teatern - Sweden, The Darbar festival - UK, Milapfest - UK, Sydney Music Festival, World Sacred Spirit Festival, DUCTAC and QE2 in Dubai, Kennedy Center - Washington DC, SIRI FORT- New Delhi, Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival, Reitberg Museum- Zurich, The Madras Music Academy, Shanmukhananda hall, Sangeet Natak Akademi, ICCR to name a few. He has performed in USA, Canada, Sri Lanka, Singapore, France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Re-Union islands, Mauritius, Australia, UK, Scotland, Dubai, Kuwait to name a few. Flute J.A.Jayant is regarded as one of the most popular and widely respected Instrumentalists from India performing and collaborating with globally renowned musicians. He has the rare honour of performing for the Honourable President of India and for the Indian Navy in Port Blair. Ghatam Vidwan Vazhappally R Krishnakumar

Vidwan Vazhappally R Krishnakumar was initiated into Ghatam& Mridangam by Guru Sri. Vazhappally Chellappan master at the early age ofseven. Later Guru Sri. Cherthala R Jayadev groomed Krishnakumar with the nuances of the art of Ghatam and Guru Sri Dr. Suresh Vaidyanathan imparted advanced training, which has collectively made Krishnakumar a prominent face in international music circuit. Drawing on his long concert career from an early age of thirteen and a number of significant encounters with other great musicians, Vazhappally Krishnakumar is known for his distinct style of playing Ghatam.

N.C. Bharadwaj on Mridangam

N C Bharadwaj started learning mridangam at the tender age of 6. He had his initial training under Srivanjeyam K Gopalan and further with Nanganallur Sri R Sriram. He then had his advanced training under Padma Vibushan Sangeetha Kalanidhi Mridangam Legend Dr.Umayalpuram K Sivaraman. Bharadwaj is an A Graded artiste of All India Radio, Chennai. He is a recepient of numerous awards and titles such as 1) Guru Karaikudi Mani Memorial Award from Karthik Fine Arts 2) Vani Kala Nipuna Title from Sri Thyaga Brahma Gana sabha, Vani Mahal 3) Kalki Krishnamurthy Award from Kalki Krishnamurthy Trust 4) Yuva Kala Bharathi from Bharat Kalachar 5) Best Mridangam Artiste award from Madras Music Academy, etc. He has been regularly performing for all the senior and upcoming artistes all over India and abroad. He has toured Canada, US, Dubai, Abu Dhabhi, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mayasia, etc. to name a few.

B. Sreeram on Flute

. Sreeram started his music journey at the age of 7. He was born in a musical family his father Balakrishnan is a nadaswaram artist and his first guru. He is currently learning under the great flute maestro Sri. Chennai J A Jayant.
